British Stock Car Graphics

Graphics for British oval-racing stock cars, from grade-coloured roof and wing panels to race numbers, driver names and sponsor livery that survives a contact formula.

Designed for your stock car

Graphics built for a contact formula.

British stock car racing is hard on livery. Cars push, spin and fence each other on shale and tarmac ovals every meeting, so graphics have to be readable from the grandstand, quick to replace and easy to change when your grade moves. We plan stock car graphics around those three jobs rather than treating the car like a circuit racer.

In the BriSCA formulas, the roof and wing colour shows your grade: white, yellow, blue, red, and red with flashing amber lights for superstars, with special colours reserved for champions. Your number has to be clear on the wing, and your name and sponsors need space on the cockpit and engine panels. We set out each of those zones for your car and keep the files ready for the next change.

Complete graphics care packages

Prepare before fitting. Protect after application.

Either package can be added to a car, van, fleet or race vehicle graphics project. Tell us what is being fitted and we will coordinate the care appointment with production and installation.

Vehicle receiving a thorough pre-graphics wash and surface preparation
Before application

Pre-graphics valet & preparation

From £80

Give the vinyl the cleanest possible foundation. A professional decontamination wash removes traffic film, wax, grease and bonded residue that can compromise inspection, positioning and edge adhesion.

  • Cleaner surface for vinyl adhesion
  • Earlier identification of tar, fallout and paint defects
  • Less fitting time lost to avoidable contamination

Final preparation depends on paint condition and the selected graphics. Paint repair, glue removal and heavy contamination may be quoted separately.

After application

Post-graphics ceramic protection

From £250

Add a compatible ceramic coating after the graphics or wrap has settled. It can deepen gloss, make routine washing easier and reduce the way road film and environmental contamination cling to the finished surface.

  • Easier maintenance of vinyl and surrounding paint
  • Added gloss and contamination resistance
  • A protection plan matched to the vinyl finish

Ceramic coating does not make graphics damage-proof. We confirm vinyl compatibility, finish and curing time before recommending the coating system.

01

Grade-colour roof and wing panels

Panels in white, yellow, blue or red to match your current grade, with champion colours produced only for the title you hold.

02

Wing and roof numbers

Bold black-on-white numbers sized for the wing side plates and number boards, and cut to the spec you supply from your formula.

03

Driver names and sponsor livery

Names, hometowns and sponsor logos laid out on the cockpit sides, engine cover and wing faces so they read clearly from the stands.

04

Spare panels and re-grade kits

Duplicate wing panels, numbers and sponsor decals so you can repair contact damage or change colour between meetings.

Artwork, material and finish

Grades change. Your graphics should keep up.

Grades are reviewed through the season, so a car that starts in yellow can need blue or red panels mid-year. We keep your artwork and number files on record, so a re-grade only means printing the new colour, not starting again. Tell us your formula and current grade when you enquire.

Formula rules set the detail. The BriSCA F2 rules, for example, require the whole roof plate and any wing to be in the driver's grade or championship colour, with the race number black on white. Rules change, so please send us the current regulations from your formula and we will build the artwork to them. Checking compliance with officials remains the driver's responsibility.

Stock car panels flex, take hits and get pressure-washed after every shale meeting. We discuss the material for each zone, as the wing faces, flat roof plates and curved body panels can need different films and laminates. Simple cut vinyl numbers are often the quickest to replace on the night.

A quote shaped around your brief

British Stock Car Graphics prices and fitting.

Cost depends on the formula, number of panels, how many grade colours or spare sets you need, sponsor artwork and whether you want supply only or fitting. A single re-grade wing panel is quoted differently from a full season livery with spares. Prices are plus VAT unless stated otherwise.

Design, production and fitting are coordinated at our Norwich graphics centre, serving customers across Norfolk. Confirm your preferred supply or fitting route when you enquire.

Before you book

British Stock Car Graphics FAQs.

What do the roof colours on stock cars mean?+

In BriSCA racing the roof shows the driver's grade. White is the lowest grade and starts at the front, then yellow, blue and red, with red and flashing amber lights for superstars at the back. Champions carry special colours, such as gold for the World Champion.

Can you make new wing panels when I change grade?+

Yes. We keep your number and livery artwork on file so a re-grade is just a new colour. Tell us the new grade and meeting date and we will confirm the timing.

What colour should my race number be?+

Follow your formula's current rules. In BriSCA F2 the wing number must be black on white. Send us the regulations you race under and we will match the artwork to them.

Do you make graphics for other stock car formulas?+

Yes. We can work from the rules for BriSCA F1, BriSCA F2 and other oval racing classes. Each formula has its own number and colour rules, so send yours with your enquiry.

Can I order spare panels for the season?+

Yes, and most stock car drivers should. Contact damage is part of the sport, so spare wing panels, numbers and key sponsor decals let you repair the car between meetings without waiting for a new order.

Are you connected to BriSCA?+

No. Race Car Graphics is an independent graphics company. We produce graphics for drivers to their formula's rules, and we only use any organisation's logo when the driver has permission to display it.
