Van Signwriting & Lettering

Make your business easy to recognise with van lettering, logos and contact details, designed and fitted around the panels of your working vehicle.

Designed for your van

A clear message on every working day.

Your van needs to explain who you are, what you do and how to contact you. We plan signwriting around that reading order, giving the business name and main service enough space before adding telephone, website and supporting details.

Each layout is checked against the van model, wheelbase, door openings and existing paint colour. A short-wheelbase van and a high-roof panel van need different proportions. Send photographs of both sides and the rear so the message stays clear across handles, recesses and panel gaps.

Complete graphics care packages

Prepare before fitting. Protect after application.

Either package can be added to a car, van, fleet or race vehicle graphics project. Tell us what is being fitted and we will coordinate the care appointment with production and installation.

Vehicle receiving a thorough pre-graphics wash and surface preparation
Before application

Pre-graphics valet & preparation

From £80

Give the vinyl the cleanest possible foundation. A professional decontamination wash removes traffic film, wax, grease and bonded residue that can compromise inspection, positioning and edge adhesion.

  • Cleaner surface for vinyl adhesion
  • Earlier identification of tar, fallout and paint defects
  • Less fitting time lost to avoidable contamination

Final preparation depends on paint condition and the selected graphics. Paint repair, glue removal and heavy contamination may be quoted separately.

After application

Post-graphics ceramic protection

From £250

Add a compatible ceramic coating after the graphics or wrap has settled. It can deepen gloss, make routine washing easier and reduce the way road film and environmental contamination cling to the finished surface.

  • Easier maintenance of vinyl and surrounding paint
  • Added gloss and contamination resistance
  • A protection plan matched to the vinyl finish

Ceramic coating does not make graphics damage-proof. We confirm vinyl compatibility, finish and curing time before recommending the coating system.

Layouts and coverage

Choose the lettering your business needs.

01

Business name and logo

Establish the main identity with readable lettering and an authorised logo, sized for the available side panels.

02

Services and contact details

Prioritise the services customers need, then choose a telephone number, website or other practical contact route.

03

Rear-door signwriting

Create a separate rear layout that works around hinges, handles, windows and the split between the doors.

04

Matching vehicles

Adapt the approved brand layout to each van size while keeping colours, spacing and message order consistent.

Artwork, material and finish

Readable lettering, considered placement.

Simple lettering can often be produced in solid-colour cut vinyl. A multicolour logo or detailed brand mark may need printed vinyl, or a combination of the two. We confirm the production route after checking the artwork and chosen colours.

Small lettering and long lists can make a van harder to read. We review contrast against the paint and keep key details away from awkward panel transitions. The artwork proof gives you a chance to check spelling, phone numbers and website addresses before production.

Existing lettering, repainted panels and protective coatings can affect preparation. Include those details with your enquiry so removal, cleaning and fitting can be included in the scope where needed.

A quote shaped around your brief

Van Signwriting & Lettering prices and fitting.

Pricing depends on the number of panels, lettering size, logo complexity, artwork preparation and fitting. A pair of door logos differs from a complete sides-and-rear package. Your written quotation sets out the agreed scope; prices are plus VAT unless stated otherwise.

Design, production and fitting are coordinated at our Norwich graphics centre, serving customers across Norfolk. Confirm your preferred supply or fitting route when you enquire.

Before you book

Van Signwriting & Lettering FAQs.

Is van signwriting painted or made from vinyl?+

This service uses applied vinyl lettering and graphics. Solid colours can be cut from film; detailed logos may be printed. The material route is confirmed with your design.

Can you use my existing business logo?+

Yes, subject to receiving suitable artwork and permission to reproduce it. Vector files are preferable for clean lettering; we can review other files and identify any redraw work needed.

Can you signwrite just the rear doors?+

Yes. Rear-only, door-only and sides-and-rear layouts can be quoted separately. Send photographs so we can account for handles, windows and door splits.

Will the lettering match my website colours?+

Screen colour is a reference, not an exact physical match. Brand specifications and vinyl or print samples help agree the closest suitable colour before production.

Can the same lettering fit different van models?+

The identity can stay consistent, but each layout needs adapting to the available panels, wheelbase and body shape. Supply the details of every vehicle in the fleet.

Can you remove old signwriting before fitting new lettering?+

Removal can be assessed as part of the quote. Age, adhesive, paint condition and the amount of existing vinyl affect the work; photographs help establish the initial scope.
