Give the vinyl the cleanest possible foundation. A professional decontamination wash removes traffic film, wax, grease and bonded residue that can compromise inspection, positioning and edge adhesion.

Final preparation depends on paint condition and the selected graphics. Paint repair, glue removal and heavy contamination may be quoted separately.

Post-graphics ceramic protection

Add a compatible ceramic coating after the graphics or wrap has settled. It can deepen gloss, make routine washing easier and reduce the way road film and environmental contamination cling to the finished surface.

Ceramic coating does not make graphics damage-proof. We confirm vinyl compatibility, finish and curing time before recommending the coating system.

Artwork, material and finish

The right file, size and material for each decal.

Cut vinyl suits solid lettering and simple shapes. Printed decals allow gradients and detailed colour artwork, with a suitable finish agreed for the application. We review small details and cut lines so the design can be produced at the size you need.

A decal set should also be straightforward to repeat. Keep the approved proof, vehicle details and artwork reference with your records. If a van needs a replacement panel later, those details help identify the correct version instead of starting from a photograph alone.

Supply-only options depend on the design and application area. Small flat-panel elements are a different fitting task from large pieces crossing recesses. We can advise on the appropriate route before production.

What is the difference between van decals and a van wrap?+

Decals are separate graphic elements applied to selected areas. A wrap covers a larger connected area, and a full wrap changes the appearance across most agreed exterior panels.

Can you make a one-off van decal?+

A single custom decal can be discussed. The size, artwork work and material requirements determine whether it is practical and how it is priced.

Can you print a detailed multicolour logo?+

Printed vinyl can be suitable for detailed logos and gradients. We check the source file and intended dimensions before confirming print quality and the production specification.

Can I order matching decals for several vans?+

Yes. Send the vehicle list and quantities, noting any differences in panel shape or size. One design may need more than one layout to fit the fleet correctly.

Can a damaged decal be replaced individually?+

Often it can, provided the artwork, dimensions and material can be identified. Fading or changes to the original film may make an exact visual match difficult; see our replacement van decals service.

Are van decals available without fitting?+

Supply-only production can be considered after reviewing the size and application area. Large decals, connected layouts and shaped recesses may be better suited to professional fitting.
