Vinyl Bonnet Wraps

Give the front of your car a contrasting finish with a vinyl bonnet wrap, designed around the panel shape, vents and agreed coverage.

Designed for your car

A focused change to the front of the car.

A bonnet wrap creates a strong contrast across one of the car's most visible panels. It can complement the roof and trim or act as a standalone styling feature while leaving the wings, bumper and remaining bodywork in their original colour.

The design needs to account for the bonnet's contours, vents, scoops and edges. Send details of aftermarket panels and modifications so we can assess the actual surface rather than assume the standard factory shape.

Complete graphics care packages

Prepare before fitting. Protect after application.

Either package can be added to a car, van, fleet or race vehicle graphics project. Tell us what is being fitted and we will coordinate the care appointment with production and installation.

Before application

Pre-graphics valet & preparation

From £80

Give the vinyl the cleanest possible foundation. A professional decontamination wash removes traffic film, wax, grease and bonded residue that can compromise inspection, positioning and edge adhesion.

  • Cleaner surface for vinyl adhesion
  • Earlier identification of tar, fallout and paint defects
  • Less fitting time lost to avoidable contamination

Final preparation depends on paint condition and the selected graphics. Paint repair, glue removal and heavy contamination may be quoted separately.

After application

Post-graphics ceramic protection

From £250

Add a compatible ceramic coating after the graphics or wrap has settled. It can deepen gloss, make routine washing easier and reduce the way road film and environmental contamination cling to the finished surface.

  • Easier maintenance of vinyl and surrounding paint
  • Added gloss and contamination resistance
  • A protection plan matched to the vinyl finish

Ceramic coating does not make graphics damage-proof. We confirm vinyl compatibility, finish and curing time before recommending the coating system.

Layouts and coverage

Choose the bonnet treatment.

01

Full top-surface coverage

Change the appearance across the agreed visible bonnet surface, with the edge treatment confirmed separately.

02

Gloss contrast

Use a reflective colour finish that complements the rest of the car and emphasises panel contours.

03

Satin or matt contrast

Choose a lower-sheen appearance with care guidance specific to the selected material.

04

Roof and bonnet pairing

Coordinate the bonnet with a roof wrap, or consider stripes when you want more paint to remain visible.

Artwork, material and finish

Contours, heat and edge treatment need a clear brief.

Vents and scoops affect how vinyl can be applied and finished. Modified panels or unusual operating conditions may need further assessment before a film is selected. Supply photographs and relevant vehicle details so material suitability can be discussed.

We define the visible coverage and any edge returns in the quotation. The underside of the bonnet is not assumed to be included. Panel alignment, washers and badges are reviewed as part of the preparation plan.

A wrap does not fix chips, dents, paint failure or rough repair work. Surface defects may remain visible beneath the film, and unstable paint can prevent a suitable installation. We assess those issues before arranging fitting.

A quote shaped around your brief

Before you book

Vinyl Bonnet Wraps FAQs.

Does a bonnet wrap include the underside?+

The service covers the agreed visible surface and specified edge treatment. Underside coverage is not assumed and would need separate assessment.

Can you wrap a vented or aftermarket bonnet?+

It can be assessed from the panel details and photographs. Vents, scoops, surface material and operating conditions influence film suitability and fitting.

Can vinyl cover stone chips on the bonnet?+

It does not repair them. Chips and other defects can remain visible, while loose paint or lacquer may make the surface unsuitable until repaired.

Can I choose a carbon-look bonnet finish?+

A decorative textured effect can be discussed if a suitable film is available. It remains vinyl over the existing panel, not a replacement carbon-fibre bonnet.

Are bonnet stripes the same service as a bonnet wrap?+

Stripes cover defined bands and leave more paint visible. A bonnet wrap covers the agreed panel surface. The motorsport stripes page is the better starting point for stripe layouts.

Can you match a bonnet wrap to my existing roof wrap?+

We can assess the existing film and finish. Ageing and material availability may affect the match, so supply the original specification if you have it and arrange a physical comparison where needed.
