Custom Car Decals

Bespoke vinyl car decals, lettering, club graphics and printed designs made to your approved artwork, with supply-only options and professional fitting in Norwich.

Designed for your car

Small graphics, designed with the same attention to detail.

Custom car decals give individual words, shapes and logos a defined place on your vehicle. Race Car Graphics produces bespoke vinyl lettering, club graphics, styling accents and printed decals for private cars, performance builds and promotional use.

The starting point is the job each decal needs to do. A discreet rear-quarter motif, readable door logo and matching set of club graphics all need different dimensions and artwork. We help establish the finished size, material and application method before anything is produced.

Complete graphics care packages

Prepare before fitting. Protect after application.

Either package can be added to a car, van, fleet or race vehicle graphics project. Tell us what is being fitted and we will coordinate the care appointment with production and installation.

Before application

Pre-graphics valet & preparation

From £80

Give the vinyl the cleanest possible foundation. A professional decontamination wash removes traffic film, wax, grease and bonded residue that can compromise inspection, positioning and edge adhesion.

  • Cleaner surface for vinyl adhesion
  • Earlier identification of tar, fallout and paint defects
  • Less fitting time lost to avoidable contamination

Final preparation depends on paint condition and the selected graphics. Paint repair, glue removal and heavy contamination may be quoted separately.

Post-graphics ceramic protection

From £250

Add a compatible ceramic coating after the graphics or wrap has settled. It can deepen gloss, make routine washing easier and reduce the way road film and environmental contamination cling to the finished surface.

  • Easier maintenance of vinyl and surrounding paint
  • Added gloss and contamination resistance
  • A protection plan matched to the vinyl finish

Ceramic coating does not make graphics damage-proof. We confirm vinyl compatibility, finish and curing time before recommending the coating system.

Layouts and coverage

Choose the right custom decal format.

01

Cut vinyl lettering

Individual letters, numbers and simple shapes cut from solid-colour film. The design is planned around the smallest details, spacing and finished reading distance.

02

Printed car decals

Full-colour artwork for designs with multiple colours, gradients or detailed imagery. File quality and finishing are assessed at the intended production size.

03

Club and identity graphics

Produce a consistent set of approved club marks, names or vehicle identifiers. Confirm spelling, dimensions and quantities for each version before production.

04

Bespoke styling accents

Add individual geometric motifs, sill details or panel accents that complement the existing paint. Placement and scale can be developed specifically for your model.

Artwork, material and finish

From your artwork to a decal that fits the panel.

Send the best original artwork available, together with the required width or height. Vector files are useful for logos and lettering, but we still check fine details and production suitability. A small web image may need redrawing before it can be enlarged cleanly.

Cut vinyl and printed decals create different results. Cut graphics leave the vehicle colour visible between separate elements; a printed design may include a background or a shaped outer edge. We confirm that detail in the proof so the finished appearance is clear.

Application planning matters even for a small decal. Panel curvature, textured surfaces, existing coatings and paint condition can affect suitability. Tell us where each piece will go and whether you want professional fitting or a supply-only set with application guidance.

Before you book

Custom Car Decals FAQs.

Can you make car decals from my own artwork?+

Yes. Send the original file and the intended finished size. We check whether it can be produced clearly and explain any redraw or preparation work before proceeding.

Which files should I send for custom car decals?+

Vector PDF, AI, EPS or SVG files are useful for logos and lettering. High-resolution raster artwork may suit printed designs. Keep the original files and tell us the required dimensions so we can check suitability.

What is the difference between cut vinyl and printed decals?+

Cut vinyl forms separate letters or shapes from a coloured film. Printed decals carry full-colour artwork on a printable film and can be finished to an agreed outer shape. We recommend a production route for your particular artwork.

Can I order different names or quantities for a car club?+

Yes. Supply a clear list of each wording, size and quantity, together with the authorised club artwork. Each variation is checked in the proof before the set is produced.

Can you fit my custom car decals in Norwich?+

Professional fitting can be included in your quotation. Send photographs of the intended panels and details of existing graphics or coatings so we can assess the application and preparation required.

Can custom car decals be removed later?+

Removal depends on the vinyl, its age and the condition of the underlying surface. Tell us if short-term use is planned so material choice and removal can be discussed before production; damage-free removal cannot be assumed for every paint finish.
