The British Stock Car Drivers Association (BSCDA) was founded in 1955 to look after drivers and the sport. Today it supports drivers in BriSCA F1 and V8 HotStox, and runs a trust fund to help drivers who are injured racing. If you race under the BSCDA, this page sets out how we can help with your car's graphics.

Most drivers fund their racing through family, local firms and loyal supporters. Good graphics give those partners real value: clear names, readable numbers and a livery that looks sharp in photos and on video. We help you plan that, then make it easy to repair and update through the season.

Pre-graphics valet & preparation

Give the vinyl the cleanest possible foundation. A professional decontamination wash removes traffic film, wax, grease and bonded residue that can compromise inspection, positioning and edge adhesion.

  • Cleaner surface for vinyl adhesion
  • Earlier identification of tar, fallout and paint defects
  • Less fitting time lost to avoidable contamination

Final preparation depends on paint condition and the selected graphics. Paint repair, glue removal and heavy contamination may be quoted separately.

Post-graphics ceramic protection

From £250

Add a compatible ceramic coating after the graphics or wrap has settled. It can deepen gloss, make routine washing easier and reduce the way road film and environmental contamination cling to the finished surface.

  • Added gloss and contamination resistance
  • A protection plan matched to the vinyl finish

Ceramic coating does not make graphics damage-proof. We confirm vinyl compatibility, finish and curing time before recommending the coating system.

Artwork, material and finish

One set of files for your whole season.

We keep a master artwork file for your car, so when your grade changes, a sponsor joins or a panel gets damaged, we only produce the part you need. That saves time between meetings and keeps every panel matching.

Each formula has its own rules for numbers, colours and markings. Please send the current regulations for the formula you race, plus any notes from officials, and we will build your graphics to them. Checking the car with officials is still the driver's responsibility.

Race Car Graphics is an independent graphics company. We are not part of, or endorsed by, the BSCDA or BriSCA. We will only add their logos, or any championship branding, where you have permission to display it.

Price depends on the formula, the number of panels, sponsor artwork, the spares you want and whether we fit the graphics. We can quote a full season kit or individual panels. Prices are plus VAT unless stated otherwise.

Design, production and fitting are coordinated at our Norwich graphics centre, serving customers across Norfolk. Confirm your preferred supply or fitting route when you enquire.

BSCDA Driver Graphics FAQs.

What is the BSCDA?+

The British Stock Car Drivers Association. It was founded in 1955 to look after the interests of drivers and the sport, and supports drivers in BriSCA F1 and V8 HotStox. It also runs a trust fund that helps drivers who miss work through racing injuries.

Are you an official BSCDA supplier?+

No. We are an independent graphics company that produces graphics for stock car drivers. We are not endorsed by the BSCDA or BriSCA.

Can you put the BSCDA or BriSCA logo on my car?+

Only if you have permission to display it, or the rules require it and you supply the approved artwork. Otherwise we keep association branding off your livery.

Do you do V8 HotStox graphics?+

Yes. Send the current V8 HotStox regulations, your number and photos of the car, and we will lay out numbers, names and sponsors to suit.

Can sponsors pay for my graphics directly?+

Yes. We can invoice a sponsor for their part of the livery if you let us know at the start. The design proof is still approved by the driver.

Do you offer anything for drivers on a tight budget?+

We can start with the essentials, numbers and grade panels, and add sponsors and full livery later. Ordering spares with the first kit is usually the cheapest way to cover a season.
